One cool thing

Looking for a way to spice up my black wool coat and saw this:

Love the charming handmade pop of color that $16 can buy.

Project Runway: Season 5 Finale

The final designs of Leanne and Korto were so freaking awesomely creative yet wearable yet fantastic yet now yet styling yet marvy that I cannot believe the judges could pick just one of the designers as the winner.  Here are my favorites from my 2 favorites...

Leanne:

Her first look nearly made me weep, and then she finished with the sweetest wedding gown ever.

Korto:

And Korto's use of color and shine was pitch-perfection.

Fashion Friday: Resort 2009

2008 was so five minutes ago! Already loving what 2009 has in store.

Side note: Don't you love the idea of Resort collections? The thought brings to mind decadent trips to beautiful beaches or cross-Atlantic cruises where your greatest worry is which cocktail to order. I'll have a mojito, please.

These three designers really hit the mark:

Fashion Friday: Picks for the Heat

The temperature recently has really shot up to my comfort range of mid-80's! As a desert girl transplanted to kinda-chilly No. Cal., I'm excited to pull out my summer dresses usually saved for trips to Texas!

Here are some pieces that would be perfect for a day of wine-tasting (tomorrow!) or just hanging out on the deck with friends and a pitcher of sangria (yum
! fruit!).

Dresses from JCrew and Old Navy

Solid and Pattern Frocks from Banana Republic

I'm totally in awe of the saturated sorbet colors of Michael Kors Spring 2008 collection.
Dream with me, people:

Photo Monday

Focus on nature this week. The landscape of Half Moon Bay seems to change overnight, so I captured a few bright floral shots while I could!

Hopefully this will be an ongoing post highlighting photographs I take over the weekends! Any feedback is appreciated!

This weekend, I think the vintage trucks take the cake
