Fashion Field Trip: Yves Saint Laurent at the de Young

"Elegance is being noticed while wearing a black dress. It's being at ease.
It's the attitude. It is not wrinkles or white hair that age a woman, it is her gestures.
"
- Yves Saint Laurent (1936-2008)

There could be not better way to celebrate the life of such a wonderful craftsman and designer, Yves Saint Laurent, than to display his decades of inspired and inspirational garments in a museum as lovely as the de Young in San Francisco.
