Personal note: Today would have been my grandmother's 80th birthday. She was a very stylin' woman. I would love to have had a chance to debate the merits of PR fashion with her.

SF Ballet Celebrates 75 years

Congratulations are in order, to both the SF Ballet, and to Janice Ross for her book celebrating their 75th Anniversary. As an undergrad, I was lucky enough to take a Dance History course with Prof. Ross. Her careful curating of material for the class is reflected in her work on this beautiful book.

The guys got some pretty great waves, and we were *this* close to Kelly Slater as he ran by on the beach.

Can't wait to go back.

All the black and red nearly bored me to tears...save a few highlights (Jennifer, Heidi, and Anne Hathaway). Loved Amy's hair with the green, and Keri's necklace/simple gown combo. I'm giving Ellen Page a hall pass for her bad bad look. Tilda and Mrs. Daniel Day had no excuse.
