One cool shop: Fringe

Loving these warm and wooly designs offered on an Etsy shop called Fringe.

The "Twist of Fate" Cowl and "Either-Or" Capelet are both great designs and love the versatility of these color choices.

One cool designer: Colleen Baran

I've been a fan (okay, Etsy stalker) of jewelry designer, Colleen Baran, for a while now. Her designs are so unique: graphic yet feminine, witty yet wearable, beautiful yet...beautiful.

Perfect gift ideas - especially in a size 5! Hint, hint.

Fashion Field Trip: Yves Saint Laurent at the de Young

"Elegance is being noticed while wearing a black dress. It's being at ease.
It's the attitude. It is not wrinkles or white hair that age a woman, it is her gestures.
- Yves Saint Laurent (1936-2008)

There could be not better way to celebrate the life of such a wonderful craftsman and designer, Yves Saint Laurent, than to display his decades of inspired and inspirational garments in a museum as lovely as the de Young in San Francisco.
